Kororoit Creek Road – Railway Line Bridge Construction
New rail bridges have been built over Kororoit Creek Road, with traffic flowing freely underneath the rail line. Construction included the partial duplication of the Altona Loop to improve service reliability.
Kororoit Creek Road is used by 22,000 vehicles each day and is part of VicRoads’ Principal Freight Network. It is a key transport corridor that connects the Williamstown North industrial precinct, nearby ports and residential areas to the Princes Freeway.
CDR provided geotechnical testing throughout both day and night works across the corridor to a number of contractors, including the principal contractor. These works required a number of contractors to work closely together within a high-profile location and to tight deadlines.
